Ryeco,a provider of fresh produce based in Philadelphia,US,has acquired two units on the Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market(PWPM),expanding its product line and ability to service customers.

The company has bought two units previously owned by the Lipman Company and operating under Colace.

Ryeco noted that the acquisition has expanded its product line,adding a substantial selection of high quality imported and domestic hot house products,especially tomatoes and colored peppers,as well as increased local produce offerings.

The new space features state-of-the-art technology and facilities.Ryeco plans to use the acquisition to drive additional growth in the future.
